[Ever since Todoroki's been in a relationship with Izuku, he has had a a few insecurities with who he is. The fact that he is an omega already defied his father but he didn't care before. More like he was satisified he did. Because he didn't need to live for anyone but his own. Before Izuku, he didn't care otherwise. Now.. it's been on on his mind. Not because he was considered inferior.. he didn't mind that. It was the fact that he was rather.. considered vulnerable to the other. "Would I be able to live up to Izuku's standards?" "Am I the right one?"
Todoroki clutches to his heart as those thoughts swirl around his mind. Is this.. okay? He's sitting up on the bed next to Izuku, with just a white collared shirt, sweating with a blush.
It was then, he felt a sharp pain in his stomach. Not able to holding out on the pain, he quickly slided off the bed and rushed into the bathroom.]
[Izuku loves Todoroki, he knows this much. It isn't because he's an alpha and the other boy is an omega; he truly loves Todoroki Shouto. He only hopes that his actions are able to show Todoroki just how much he does love him. It's not as if he doesn't say the words, but he hasn't expressed all of his feelings in words yet. Mostly because it's embarrassing.
Izuku holds Todoroki's other hand as he lays on the bed, lacing his fingers between the other's, both with only white shirts on. He watches Todoroki for a moment before resting his head on the other boy's arm, as if he's comforting him.
However, when Todoroki moves, Izuku sits up, tilting his head to one side as he watched the other boy hurry to the bathroom. Sitting there for a moment, he wonders what could have happened. A list of scenarios play through his head (Did Shouto eat something wrong? Did he get sick? Did we do it wrong tonight!?), and he scampers to the door of the bathroom. He puts his hand on the door gently and calls out to the other boy, worriedly.]
[The pain is really much to bear but he has had to close the door in the bathroom so he gets his peace of mind. However, when he heard Izuku's voice, he cringes a bit not wanting to let Izuku see the state he's in.]
It.. It's okay, Izuku. I'm fine. [He tries to suppress that pain he is in but his voice cracks and he tries to cover his mouth. Not now, Todoroki.]
You should go eat some breakfast or something. I'll be there in a bit. [He wants to throw up so badly right now but if he does, he knows Izuku's gonna hear it.]
[Izuku definitely hears that voice crack, and he watches the door, worried. But when Todoroki tells him to get breakfast, Izuku just gives a small sigh. He knows how Todoroki can be...]
Are you sure...? [A pause.] Just... let me know if you need anything, Shouto.
[He moves away from the door, but stares at it for a moment before heading towards the kitchen to start making breakfast. He gets out some eggs to scramble them, and gets out the bread and jam for toast. He busies himself with making the scrambled eggs, trying not to dwell on the state that Todoroki is in. However, that's hard for someone like Deku, so he starts to mumble about what could have happened. He begins to worry more now.
When he finishes cooking the eggs, he glances towards the bathroom door.]
[Um.. well Izuku is distracted, so he uses the time to try and quietly hurl up what he had been holding up on for those few minutes. It's a lot of.. well say unusually warm glop from last night's dinner.
Todoroki pinches his nose afterwards, thinking hard on what to do next. Well Izuku's always been a worrier but it's nothing new but he does his best to minimize that.]
It's fine, Izuku. Just had a momentary spell that's all. [He's hoping he doesn't ask any more questions. He counts his fingers... has it been two weeks since that time he eloped with Izuku? Maybe? He shakes his head, while still holding the door closed.]
Ah.. what's for breakfast? [He says it casually.. not like he can already smell it from here.] Must be good.
[It seems like Todoroki is alright now, which makes Izuku breathe a small sigh of relief. Hopefully it's only a momentary spell, like Todoroki said. He puts his hand on his chest, listening to Todoroki's voice.]
Eggs and toast! Should I wait to put your toast in the toaster until you're ready...?
[He tried to keep his voice cheerful, but there's still a hint of worry in it. He's staring at the door, now, waiting for it to open...
[Todoroki, knowing how Izuku is.. tries to keep a calm face. As Izuku slowly opens the door, he turns to him only to have to cover his mouth again.
He closes his eyes and nods his head as if he is okay.. or well tries to. He then takes another moment to turn away and at the toilet, holding onto the carpet near the bathroom floor before he continues back to Izuku.]
It's fine. I might have ate something bad. [If that's even considered a lie, because he's still uncertain himself.]
Ah.. school's tomorrow.. [He places a hand under his chin, closing his eyes once more, but in a calming manner.] I really don't wanna miss it...
[He still looks worried, though, he doesn't like seeing people like this.]
Oh, but, Shouto... If you're sick...
[But he trails off. He knows he'd feel the same way as Shouto, about school, so he can't really tell him to stay home.]
... Okay. I'll be there with you, anyway, so it should be fine.
[He smiles softly, taking Todoroki's hand in his own, then standing on his tiptoes to kiss the other boy on the cheek. When he pulls away, he laces his fingers with Todoroki's.]
If you aren't hungry, you don't have to eat. I'll make you something later.
[He felt the kiss as he burns a little from it. He feels a bit relieved, considering how close he was to Izuku. Almost as if his quirk activated at that moment.]
I'm uh.. thank you. [He grips his boyfriend's hand while keeping his mouth covered, he's so affectionate... he can't help but swell up at the thought.]
What about you, Izuku? Are you feeling fine? [He mutters, but then as he does so he almost can feel something hurling up again from inside him.
He knocks a hand to the wall, and places it there, straining himself again. Now is not the time though, Todoroki.]
[Todoroki grits his teeth as he sees the worried look of Izuku's face.
Fuck.

He's not in any condition to lie or to pretend. But he's winced if he finds out he is bearing.. well a child. Not because of his reputation with the school.. to anyone. But rather.. he didn't want his family to find out.
He knew his father knew about it, but to tell him is just.. its just not possible. It's a shame to him.
Todoroki sighs... but not before he closes his eyes again, getting tensions of needing to rest.. still conscious but able to fall at any moment.
He holds his fist to himself, his ice crowds around his fist, almost out of nowhere. His emotions are not of the most calm at this time.]
I need.. I need.. a doctor, Izuku. [Those words, blunt but it's not like he doesn't want to find out. He has this need to. His head looks down, panting.]
[Izuku watches Todoroki closely, holding him fast to keep him upright. He was growing more and more concerned about Todoroki, and the fact that his fist turned to ice doesn't help him at all. Izuku's eyes go wide.
So when Shouto tells him that he needs a doctor, he tenses up and starts flailing a bit, shaking Shouto as he does so. Which is probably a bad idea, but he's not in his right mind right now.]
Y-you really need a doctor, Shouto!? O-okay, we should get you to one. But, ah, how will we get there... I can call my mom to pick us up, I suppose... Shouto, will you be okay in a car?
[He stops shaking the other after that, but continues to mumble about how to get there.]
Yeah.. I...[He winces, clutching his iced hand around his abdomen area, as if he had suffered an injury.] I'm not fine.
[He immediately crotches down, panting as if he's in a desperate cry for help. He holds his other hand up and clutches onto his boyfriend as a signal that they should go immediately.]
I'm sorry, Izuku...[He collapses at that moment, laying on the ground. Curled up a bit, he bears the pain while still half conscious.]
[Shit, shit, shit. Izuku tightens his grip on Todoroki, but it doesn't help much when he collapses to the ground. He knows now just how serious this is.
So he does the first thing he can think of: he scoops Todoroki up and carries him out of the bathroom, into the living room. He panics a bit, wondering what the right thing to do would be... But when he looks at Todoroki again, he makes up his mind. He calls for an ambulance, hurriedly telling them that his roommate was in pain and needed to go to a hospital. They could tell he was panicking a bit, so they tried to calm him down while on the phone. Once he says he's fine and hangs up, he rushes outside still carrying the half-conscious Todoroki. He whispers all kinds of comforting things to him, mostly how everything will be alright soon.
A few minutes later, the ambulance pulls up close to them and Izuku helps the medics get Todoroki inside. They offer him a spot on one side of Todoroki and Izuku holds his hand and watches him as they ride to the hospital.
Soon after they got there, the medics wheel Todoroki into a room. When Izuku tells one of the medics he wants to stay with Shouto, he stares at him for a moment before agreeing, saying that he will let the doctor know.
Now he's sitting in a chair next to Todoroki's hospital bed, holding his hand again, and waiting for the doctor to come...]
[Though half conscious, he heard his lover's sweet words coming from his ear. Gentle and soft, much like a melody but with no song. As he's being picked up and carried, he could hear the frantic of Izuku panicking, but couldn't do much except cling to his shirt at that point.
When the ambulance took him to a room in the bed, he wakes up a bit dreary of what had just happened.]
Ah...a hospital. I remember being here before.
[What a time it was to be in it too, even. He remembers visiting his mother quite often after he confronted her again in years.
He covers his mouth again. Almost a gag, but he's holding it. One hand on his mouth and the other now clutching to the sheets he's covered in. Is a doctor in yet? Would Izuku need to be here at this moment? He's swirling around thinking of these things on top of his condition, he's not sure what he'd do.]
[He breathes a small sigh of relief when Todoroki speaks, watching him a bit.]
I-I didn't know what else to do, so...
[He trails off, watching his boyfriend closely. Worry crosses his face when Todoroki covers his mouth again.]
Ah, do you need anything--?
[But just as he was about to say something, the doctor walked in, introducing herself to the two of them. Izuku nodded to her and introduced himself, then looked towards Todoroki.]
Should I s-stay, Shouto? Or do you want me to wait in the waiting room?
[He gives the other a weak smile, but tries to assure him that either way would be alright.]

[Todoroki nods in turn, able to control his vomitting for now.]
Don't worry about it, Izuku. [He says in a gentle manner. Again, whether or not his guessing of what his condition could be it's best that Izuku know sooner rather than later. He looks at the doctor and asks her the procedures for something in whisper, making sure Izuku doesn't hear out loud. He then nods, and has the doctor take a needle for a blood test.
Thankfully he's very calm when it comes to these shots so it's nothing new.. he allows the opening of his elbow, allowing the nurse to pad the elbow with some kind of liquid. The doctor then injects the shot for a few seconds just for his blood.
As soon as that was done, he rests his head back and the doctor walks out of the room momentarily.]
[He nods, sitting back in his seat again, watching the doctor and Todoroki. He takes Todoroki's free hand in his own as he watches Todoroki's blood being drawn. When that was done, he squeezes the hand he's holding.]
Are you okay, Shouto...?
[He's still a bit worried, so he watches his boyfriend carefully, but he doesn't want to pry too much. He just hopes they'll be able to help Todoroki with his pain.]
[Todoroki grips onto Izuku's hand to not startle him too much. He's not in any serious physical pain now, just more feeling queasy now. As the doctor comes back though..... she nods at the half toned man...and he sits up with his other free hand clutching to the bedsheets.]
I'm..I'm fine, Izuku. [Saying as if in distress.] Doctor, please show Izuku the results..
[The doctor then the paper to Izuku.. and leaves the room. Todoroki turns away in a slight flush then.]
[Izuku nods again and takes the paper from the doctor, reading it carefully. As he reads, his face goes red. He hadn't even thought about this possibility...
The results say that Todoroki is pregnant.
Izuku just stares at the word for a moment before giving the paper to Todoroki and hiding his face in his hands. When he speaks, it's muffled.]
You-- You're... We... I--
[Is about all he can say before he takes his hands away from his face and moves to throw his arms around Todoroki, both of them sitting there in an awkward hug. He's crying silently, but also smiling a bit. He buries his face in Todoroki's shoulder.]
[Todoroki was quite surprised at Izuku's reaction.. he'd expect more a worry but having him being hugged and crying on his shoulder kind of cheered him up himself. He has no idea why. He was still afraid of the possibilities and complications of bringing another life into this world but.. for the moment he couldn't help but tear a bit himself now.]
Having a child. I just didn't think about it, or was but dismissed it until we could get to an infrimary. I didn't want to shock you either.
[The half tone haired man places his hand on Izuku's head, petting it down as he cries.]
[Of course, Izuku's also worried, but a sense of pride, joy, and love fills his chest more than that. He clings to Todoroki for a while, just letting him pet his hair. Finally, he nods, smiles, and looks up at his boyfriend.]
Yes... I'm okay with it. I've always wanted a family... And to have one with you, I'd be so happy, Shouto.
[Tears well up in his eyes again, and he allows himself to cry... but they're tears of joy, as his grin widens even more. After a moment, he wipes away his tears and studies Todoroki, placing both hands on his.]
[Todoroki nods, dripping tears in front of Izuku in such shock. How Izuku would be able to take this.. to bear such a responsibility even at just this stage of their relationship is just.. its just.. overwhelming.
But in a good way. Todoroki never thought to be any happier with Izuku than he is right now.
All he could do was show those tears and a slight jaw drop himself. He just wraps his arms around his boyfriend now.]
Of course, Izuku. If you are, then I am.
[He lets go now, but clutches to him a little embarassed. To be full of emotion.. about this is just.. it's conflicting but he's happy. Happy that it was with Izuku.]
Thank you so much. I couldn't be any more grateful.
[Todoroki blushes when Izuku kisses him on the forehead, but then looks straight at Izuku to kiss him back but on the lips. The half and half tightens the grip as he kisses the curly green haired male, placing his other hand on his lover's freckled cheek. When he was done, he sits back smiling calmly.]
You're too much for me. No words can describes my feelings for you, Izuku.
[Izuku looks shocked for a moment, but kisses Todoroki back, smiling into the kiss. He puts one hand on Todoroki's cheek, as well. When they were done, he leans back, too, lacing his fingers with Todoroki's own. He grins and blushes slightly.]
And none can describe mine for you. I love you, Shouto.
[Watching Todoroki, he can't help but think that everything will turn out alright.]
[It's been at least 5 months since Todoroki's reveal of his pregnancy with Izuku. It was .. rather surprising, considering neither of them expected it, especially with the fact that Izuku had normally been careful as an Alpha to use condoms and suppressants when possible.
Todoroki wasn't one to bother though. Mostly cause he thought he never needed to care about love... significant others.. until Izuku.
It was no wonder he had ended up like this. Since being pregnant, he has had many absences due to hiding his condition and eventually move out momentarily to a small apartment near the school in order to still be close to Izuku.
It was one day, he decided to take Izuku on a casual date on a Saturday night. Strangely enough, he usually never asks for one, but it was one of those nights He had already booked a dinner and a hotel stay so now he was waiting at the meeting place with Izuku.
It's been at least a month or two since he's at least hang out with Izuku because of his busy hero and school schedule but keeps a constant update everyday of how he's feeling as well as small chit chat here and there.
He waits patiently on a bench nearby the restaurant, his hand rested on his now round belly. He smiles, thinking about when his Alpha will come.]
[Izuku could only be happier if he was able to be with Todoroki in these months... But he had agreed that the apartment might be the best idea for the other boy. He was constantly asking Todoroki how he was doing and how the baby was, everything like that. To say he was the happiest person alive right now was almost an understatement.
Of course, Izuku immediately agreed to the date, it seemed long overdue to the alpha, and he wanted to see Todoroki as much as possible. He was so excited that he had ran a bit later than he wanted to because he didn't know what to wear. Of course, he was still early, though.
Sporting a white button-down shirt with a green blazer and black pants, he looks around near the restaurant for his omega. When he spots him, he calls out his name and walks towards him quickly, smiling that big smile of his.]
Shouto! Have you been waiting long?
[He takes both of Todoroki's hands in his own and gives him a small kiss on the cheek. When he looks down at his swollen belly, Izuku blushes slightly, and puts one of his hands on it. He giggles a bit.]
No, not at all. [He says shaking his head. He didn't mind waiting, as he understood there's usually a reason why..
As he was gripped by those scarred hands and a kiss though, his eyes widened and he blushes.. as if it was his first date with him. It's been at least a month or two since Izuku's been busy so he wouldn't have expected to miss him that much.
Todoroki was dressed a bit differently today, at least from his normal attire. He was sporting some form of a white blouse over a dark colored cardigan. Mostly because his normal clothes - his collared shirts and formal ones could not fit him anymore due to his pregnancy. He's still wearing a pair of slacks underneath and a pair of black dress shoes that match.
When his lover placed a hand on his stomach, he could only smile. As was this baby growing inside him, he could only more be more passionate with his alpha.
The omega felt so blessed then.]
Yes, let's... [He stands up, cupping the bottom of his tummy while still holding onto Izuku's hand for support. He looks away in embarassment for a few seconds before he continues.]
I hope you'll like this place.. the app on my phone reccomended it and it was nearby...so I'd thought we'd try it. [He gently smiles, looking down in a contemplative manner.]
[Izuku nods at him, looking him up and down. He must admit, he likes this look on Todoroki. He wanted to stay just like this for a few moments longer, if he was honest with himself.
Helping his lover up, Izuku put his hands out and kept mumbling questions like "are you okay?" "is this alright?" and "how are you feeling?" He sees Todoroki's embarrassment and looks away, embarrassed himself, and scratches his cheek with his forefinger.
But when Todoroki talks about the restaurant, Izuku smiles again and nods.]
It looks like a wonderful place, Shouto. I'm glad we get to try it. Thank you.
[He gives his lover another quick peck on the cheek before taking his hand and letting Todoroki lead the way.]
[He's finding Izuku really cute when he's being just as awkward as he was, whispering those sensible words to him. It makes him feel so loved and warm when he's by his side. He gets assisted by the smaller alpha, lifting himself coddling the belly; the other hand with his lover.
He then starts walking, holding Izuku's hand tightly in a calm manner or as calm as he could from his heated face.]
We're here. [He announces in his normal tone. Well.. dramatically normal as Todoroki would be. He tells a waiter nearby that they'd be seated for two and leads Izuku in.]
How's UA? [In a blunt tone while still walking down the area with him. However as red in the face he is, it would be difficult to tell. He and his partner are in public after all.]
[Izuku holds Todoroki's hand, squeezing it tight as they walk. It seems like it's been forever since they just held hands, so he's savoring this right now.
He looks up at the building when they arrive, smiling. Nodding to the waiter.]
Oh, it's good! [Izuku then starts rambling about things that have gone on as they walk, remembering to thank the waiter and order his drink in the middle of his rambles. He continues until they order their food, and he just nods to himself when he's done.]
So, that's what's been going on... What about you, Shouto? How are you?
[He's genuinely curious, and he's hopeful that everything is going well. He smiles softly at the boy in front of him, reaching for his hand across the table.]
[Todoroki smiles in return with that squeeze of Izuku's hand, gently as if it were the first time. As he listens toe curly haired boy, he can't help but look at his face while listening to what his boyfriend has been up to. Content as he was, he's happy that he's doing well there.
When he gets asked the question of how the omega has been, he kind of just blushes and curls his hand around the other.]
Umm... well... I.. [He mutters a little, trying to think of what else to say.]
It's been normal.. the baby..it's growing well. [He places his other hand on the table, his enlarged stomach snugged beneath it.]
The next visit is next week.. Friday. Would you like to come?

I'm sorry, Izuku...[He collapses at that moment, laying on the ground. Curled up a bit, he bears the pain while still half conscious.]

Date: 2017-07-11 06:51 am (UTC)So he does the first thing he can think of: he scoops Todoroki up and carries him out of the bathroom, into the living room. He panics a bit, wondering what the right thing to do would be... But when he looks at Todoroki again, he makes up his mind. He calls for an ambulance, hurriedly telling them that his roommate was in pain and needed to go to a hospital. They could tell he was panicking a bit, so they tried to calm him down while on the phone. Once he says he's fine and hangs up, he rushes outside still carrying the half-conscious Todoroki. He whispers all kinds of comforting things to him, mostly how everything will be alright soon.
A few minutes later, the ambulance pulls up close to them and Izuku helps the medics get Todoroki inside. They offer him a spot on one side of Todoroki and Izuku holds his hand and watches him as they ride to the hospital.
Soon after they got there, the medics wheel Todoroki into a room. When Izuku tells one of the medics he wants to stay with Shouto, he stares at him for a moment before agreeing, saying that he will let the doctor know.
Now he's sitting in a chair next to Todoroki's hospital bed, holding his hand again, and waiting for the doctor to come...]

Ah...a hospital. I remember being here before.
[What a time it was to be in it too, even. He remembers visiting his mother quite often after he confronted her again in years.
He covers his mouth again. Almost a gag, but he's holding it. One hand on his mouth and the other now clutching to the sheets he's covered in. Is a doctor in yet? Would Izuku need to be here at this moment? He's swirling around thinking of these things on top of his condition, he's not sure what he'd do.]

I-I didn't know what else to do, so...
[He trails off, watching his boyfriend closely. Worry crosses his face when Todoroki covers his mouth again.]

[But just as he was about to say something, the doctor walked in, introducing herself to the two of them. Izuku nodded to her and introduced himself, then looked towards Todoroki.]
Should I s-stay, Shouto? Or do you want me to wait in the waiting room?
[He gives the other a weak smile, but tries to assure him that either way would be alright.]

Again, whether or not his guessing of what his condition could be it's best that Izuku know sooner rather than later. He looks at the doctor and asks her the procedures for something in whisper, making sure Izuku doesn't hear out loud. He then nods, and has the doctor take a needle for a blood test.
Thankfully he's very calm when it comes to these shots so it's nothing new.. he allows the opening of his elbow, allowing the nurse to pad the elbow with some kind of liquid. The doctor then injects the shot for a few seconds just for his blood.
As soon as that was done, he rests his head back and the doctor walks out of the room momentarily.]

Izuku just stares at the word for a moment before giving the paper to Todoroki and hiding his face in his hands. When he speaks, it's muffled.]

[Is about all he can say before he takes his hands away from his face and moves to throw his arms around Todoroki, both of them sitting there in an awkward hug. He's crying silently, but also smiling a bit. He buries his face in Todoroki's shoulder.]

He has no idea why. He was still afraid of the possibilities and complications of bringing another life into this world but.. for the moment he couldn't help but tear a bit himself now.]
Having a child. I just didn't think about it, or was but dismissed it until we could get to an infrimary. I didn't want to shock you either.
[The half tone haired man places his hand on Izuku's head, petting it down as he cries.]

All he could do was show those tears and a slight jaw drop himself. He just wraps his arms around his boyfriend now.]

It was no wonder he had ended up like this. Since being pregnant, he has had many absences due to hiding his condition and eventually move out momentarily to a small apartment near the school in order to still be close to Izuku.
It was one day, he decided to take Izuku on a casual date on a Saturday night. Strangely enough, he usually never asks for one, but it was one of those nights He had already booked a dinner and a hotel stay so now he was waiting at the meeting place with Izuku.
It's been at least a month or two since he's at least hang out with Izuku because of his busy hero and school schedule but keeps a constant update everyday of how he's feeling as well as small chit chat here and there.
He waits patiently on a bench nearby the restaurant, his hand rested on his now round belly. He smiles, thinking about when his Alpha will come.]

He was so excited that he had ran a bit later than he wanted to because he didn't know what to wear. Of course, he was still early, though.
Sporting a white button-down shirt with a green blazer and black pants, he looks around near the restaurant for his omega. When he spots him, he calls out his name and walks towards him quickly, smiling that big smile of his.]
Shouto! Have you been waiting long?
[He takes both of Todoroki's hands in his own and gives him a small kiss on the cheek. When he looks down at his swollen belly, Izuku blushes slightly, and puts one of his hands on it. He giggles a bit.]

Date: 2017-07-13 07:56 pm (UTC)As he was gripped by those scarred hands and a kiss though, his eyes widened and he blushes.. as if it was his first date with him. It's been at least a month or two since Izuku's been busy so he wouldn't have expected to miss him that much.
Todoroki was dressed a bit differently today, at least from his normal attire. He was sporting some form of a white blouse over a dark colored cardigan. Mostly because his normal clothes - his collared shirts and formal ones could not fit him anymore due to his pregnancy. He's still wearing a pair of slacks underneath and a pair of black dress shoes that match.
When his lover placed a hand on his stomach, he could only smile. As was this baby growing inside him, he could only more be more passionate with his alpha.
The omega felt so blessed then.]
Yes, let's... [He stands up, cupping the bottom of his tummy while still holding onto Izuku's hand for support. He looks away in embarassment for a few seconds before he continues.]
I hope you'll like this place.. the app on my phone reccomended it and it was nearby...so I'd thought we'd try it. [He gently smiles, looking down in a contemplative manner.]

But when Todoroki talks about the restaurant, Izuku smiles again and nods.]
It looks like a wonderful place, Shouto. I'm glad we get to try it. Thank you.
[He gives his lover another quick peck on the cheek before taking his hand and letting Todoroki lead the way.]
