[It was the middle of the day, as lunch period was a thing. Todoroki was standing on the rooftop of a building, leaning towards one of the railings fenced around the area. He had been sipping a carton of apple juice for a long while waiting for Izuku. Holding up a memo he had gotten crumbled up.. he rereads what it said. "Get Midoriya to confess to you" with a smudge at the end, implying there might have been more written. He thought it was.. odd.. strange even, considering he had gotten this from Aizawa-sensei. Is it another threat to fail his class? A prank for his own amusement? He seems.. rather lost at it, but takes the challenge anyway. Izuku couldn't have done anything wrong, right?
In any case.... He sent Izuku a letter of what time and place to meet the two-tone haired guy... though he didn't address it as himself. Rather, he kept it anonymous. He didn't forget. He just chose not to, thinking it would be easier if Izuku found out on his own. Todoroki finishes up his drink, sipping every last drop before folding up nicely and stuffing in his bag. It would be rather unethical to toss it over the fence..only a uneducated hero would do that.
He plants a foot on the rims of the fence. He waits.. looking the sky. It's bright, clear as day. Much like the famous All Might.. a respectable hero to all. He then just looks back down. Hopefully, Izuku will come soon.]
[Izuku had been nervous since he found the letter in his shoe locker, but this was a whole new level of nervousness.
He had told Ochako and Iida that he had somewhere to be, and they had told him "good luck," which didn't really bode well for Izuku, since he hadn't told either of them about the letter at all. He sighed when he climbed the stairs, and when he eventually reached the top, he decided to take a peek at who had sent him the letter. It had made him nervous that it was anonymous, of course, but he didn't expect a certain two-tone haired boy to be standing on the roof.
His heart leapt in his chest and he felt the most nervous he's ever felt since the day he went through the testing at U.A. ... He stared out of the window for quite some time, trying to figure out what to do...
Maybe it's okay!! Maybe Todoroki just wanted to help him with something! Or anything else!!! He won't get his hopes up. Izuku had liked the boy even more since they gotten to know each other a little better, and he gradually found out that he probably maybe wanted to kiss the boy. So it made some of their more recent interactions awkward... Even to the point where others had noticed. But it didn't seem like Todoroki had noticed?? Well, even if he did, he had hid it pretty well from Izuku...
After hesitating for a moment more, Izuku slaps his cheeks with both hands and then nods to himself. He became more confident in fighting and facing Kacchan after coming to this academy, he can be confident with this, too! So he opens the door slowly, peeking his head around the corner, and sheepishly grinning towards Todoroki. As he walks onto the roof, a little closer to the other boy, he speaks.]
Ah... Todoroki-kun! Was it you that sent me that letter...?
[Stuttering his words slightly, Izuku's cheeks turn a little pink as he looks down at his hands, fidgeting with them. He shouldn't be this nervous!!]
Ah.. yes. I was. [Todoroki turns toward the mess of the green haired Izuku. ... Okay, he had to admit that fidgetting and nervousness was sort of cute. He steps forward to the shorter boy, while sliding the crumpled up memo in his pocket. His eyes were focused on the boy.. he shouldn't be this nervous, but that's Izuku for you. He's a formidable rival.. opponent, but he possesses a great attitude towards others.]
I wanted to ask if you needed help with anything. [His hands, one on top of the other, while still concentrated at the other student.] Aizawa-sensei mentioned to me something and I'm not entirely sure how to go about it.
[His eyebrows furrowed slightly.. one of his hands gripped onto his face in a pondering like expression.]
Like as if you were in trouble.. or needed assistance on a test. He said something about needed to admit to something but, what.... [He is very concerned for you, Izuku. It's almost endearing. Sorry he's kind of clueless on how he's feeling right now though..]
[For some reason, the confirmation just made Izuku get flustered even more, but he looks up at Todoroki when he steps forward, closer to him.
And then the next words surprised Izuku. Not only because it confirmed that Todoroki hadn't noticed how flustered he was around him, but also because Aizawa-sensei... Aizawa-sensei, of all people, mentioned something to the other boy.
Izuku stares at Todoroki's pondering expression, noting how it fit the boy... How it's almost cute... Wait, no, he has to concentrate on what was going on!!
And then he tips his head, listening to Todoroki finishing his thoughts... only to blush more. What the heck did Aizawa-sensei say!?]
Um! I'm not in trouble or anything! I did fine on the last test, too...
[Maybe he meant help with training? But he can't tell anyone else about One for All, so he can really only train with All Might...
He just kind of shrinks in on himself a little, still fidgeting with his hands.]
What did he say, exactly? I-I don't think there's much I need to admit...
[Besides his feelings for you, Todoroki, but he's very adamant about keeping it a secret. For now.]
Yeah.. I checked. You did pretty well actually so I congratulate you.

[Though then when he looked back up, he noticed how Izuku was flustering all the over the place, fidgeting... his introverted behavior is just having Todoroki's eyes widen with a hint of blush on his cheeks. But I digress I.. [He turns to the side a little, keeping a composure even while his face is lightly flushed. He then focuses his eyes back on Izuku with a calm expression, as if he were smiling.] I think you have your well intentions even if you kept something from anyone, including me. [He slightly tilts his head down, closing his eyes while keeping the curl on his mouth. Izuku is a good person.. someone that really could be a real hero one day.]
[Izuku gives a small bow after Todoroki congratulated him, then straightens back out when he speaks again.
And then his face just goes a tomato red.
As he puts his hand to his mouth, Izuku starts to mumble something (mostly wondering how Aizawa-sensei figured it out); it's not very coherent, but he's thinking deeply about this, almost not hearing the rest of Todoroki's words. But he snaps back into reality when Todoroki says he has well intentions. He swallows hard and puts his hands up, waving them a little.]
N-no, no, I don't really-- It's not like I have many secrets-- Wait, that's not what I mean, I....
[He's stumbling and stuttering over his words, flailing his arms around slightly, and continuing to blush. Then all of a sudden, he stops, looks down at the ground with closed eyes. He swallows again.

Someone... you like in our class? [He makes no discretion on what gender they are.. be it girl or boy. Though, what a foreign concept. He's usually not the person to think about relationships or crushes but to think Izuku would be like that... well, he would figure he'd be that type. It would be nice if it was himself.. though it would not be a priority of his. The way he is stuttering is a bit amusing though. It tickles him a little but he stays calm by looking at him with a gentle face so he isn't startling the other boy.]
I would not put it past you but you should definitely confess to that person. [He stays pretty nonchalant as he says this. Because honesty is the best policy. Being straight out with your feelings, be it about your homework or someone you fell for.]
It's no problem though. You're a hero that deserves some respect. The way you got me to use my most hated side... the one once associated with my father. It was admirable. [He knows this for a fact. He hated using his fiery side as much as anyone. But to have Izuku make him realize that it's not that bad using all of his powers.. it really is something that goes beyond his expectations. He crosses his arms, looking under trying to get a peek of Izuku's face.]
[Izuku nods while his face flushes a bright red. Though he is thankful that Todoroki doesn't make an assumption one way or the other. He gazes at the other boy, smiling a little at the gentleness that Todoroki had, happiness filling his eyes. This is why he likes him, Izuku supposes.
But then he speaks again and gives him advice he wasn't sure he was ready for. He knows Todoroki has been pretty honest, himself, but Izuku kind of shrinks in on himself... Waiting for the other to finish his thoughts.
Izuku blushes yet again as he hears Todoroki's gratefulness and puts his hands in the air, waving them back and forth.]
Oh, no, no, I'm not as great as you or Kacchan or Iida-san...!!
[He lowers his head again, furrowing his brows. How can he take this much praise from the guy he's been crushing on...? He bites his lip.
He still didn't quite know what Todoroki thought of dating in general, though it seemed like he was okay with boys dating other boys... Still, he thought he can't be too careful.]
I-I'd like to confess, but... I don't think they'd want to date someone l-like me...
[He closes his eyes tight and balls his hands into fists. It was now or never, Izuku. After a long pause he speaks again to clarify what he meant.]
