[It was rare for Sabo to see anything but the dull colors in his life. Whenever he wakes up, it was all dull. There was a lack of bright happy colors and just a neutral tone of everything around him. He goes on his missions like normal, running around endlessly seeking a better tomorrow but it doesn't satisify him enough. The closest that would still bring joy to him was Luffy, his only living brother. But even that fades away as Luffy has his own pirate life to sail with his crew, adventures and the like. Sabo is left to lead a life of just the usual, just the life of being a Revolutionary. Sometimes it would be exciting but sometimes even the few days he has off numbs his brain into doing anything worthwhile.]
Ahh... wonder what else is going to go on. [He says this in a plain tone, standing near the deck looking out to the night skies.] Maybe I'll go on another mission again. [He steps back, wondering if he could see a more colorful life. The last time he has had it was with Ace, but he never realized it until after his passing.]
[It was then he felt a resonation within him. His eyes widened, and he could feel the nerves jumping within his body, darting at his brain. What's even going on.]
[It was the middle of the day, as lunch period was a thing. Todoroki was standing on the rooftop of a building, leaning towards one of the railings fenced around the area. He had been sipping a carton of apple juice for a long while waiting for Izuku. Holding up a memo he had gotten crumbled up.. he rereads what it said. "Get Midoriya to confess to you" with a smudge at the end, implying there might have been more written. He thought it was.. odd.. strange even, considering he had gotten this from Aizawa-sensei. Is it another threat to fail his class? A prank for his own amusement? He seems.. rather lost at it, but takes the challenge anyway. Izuku couldn't have done anything wrong, right?
In any case.... He sent Izuku a letter of what time and place to meet the two-tone haired guy... though he didn't address it as himself. Rather, he kept it anonymous. He didn't forget. He just chose not to, thinking it would be easier if Izuku found out on his own. Todoroki finishes up his drink, sipping every last drop before folding up nicely and stuffing in his bag. It would be rather unethical to toss it over the fence..only a uneducated hero would do that.
He plants a foot on the rims of the fence. He waits.. looking the sky. It's bright, clear as day. Much like the famous All Might.. a respectable hero to all. He then just looks back down. Hopefully, Izuku will come soon.]
[In the world of magic and the supernatural.... Sabo reigns as one of the top in his school of wizardry in the Academy of New World. For years he has been studying under the teachings of Dragon with some help with his werewolf companion, Ace, and their little brother Luffy.
Today however was a day of solitude as Sabo settles on a rock near a pond. It was a quiet day but free of apprentice teachings and studying. Normally he'd accept the books and the curriculum head on, but lately he's been stressed and took a breather right in the middle of the forest.]
Ace. Ace!! Come out. I've got some food to give you. [He takes out a bag next to him, revealing a piece of bread he had bought at a farmer's market.] It's really good, fresh from the bakers'!
[He signals the other hand, directing it at a nearby bush. Hopefully he's there... or somewhere, he thinks. Because usual hiding spots and all.]
[Sitting in the room on the highest floor of the lighthouse is Ace, waiting for a certain someone to come upstairs, too. This had been his secret hideout throughout part of high school, and now houses a small couch, a coffee table, and an end table with a lamp. It's small, but cozy and nice to come to whenever he wants. Which is often, now that he reconciled with that certain someone.
He had climbed up once while Ace was there as well, and they sat and caught up with each other's lives. They had been in the same class in high school, so they remembered each other, but it didn't take long for them to become friends. They joke around now, as well as just enjoy each other's company.
But something strange happened, too. A little while after they had become friends and started to hang out more often, Ace had begun to develop... feelings for this person.
Which wouldn't be a problem if they weren't both guys. And that his crush was from the underwater city below the port close to the lighthouse.
So Ace came up with a stupid plan. Introduce him to the Pocky game. Which is a silly game, he must admit, but even if he finds out the other person doesn't have any feelings for him, they can just both laugh it off.
It could also be a test to see if Ace really loved him.
But now he's a little nervous, though he's just sitting on the couch, playing a handheld game, waiting for his company to arrive.]
[You'd know if Sabo would recall being in a forest... he would do so but..
he doesn't remember a thing. The surroundings seem vaguely nostalgic however, as if his body knew how to move through such gallant forestry. The wiff of the pine, and his boots touching the wood as he jumps through as he questions this "game" he is participating in.
He doesn't question the why... he doesn't even ponder it. Games are fun, right? In this familiar but unfamiliar setting, he might as well play it. No rules were explained but he has it figured out.
